Yalukang Aged Care

REDHS is currently undertaking a $2.7 million significant refurbishment of its Aged Care Facility (High Care – Nursing Home).

This significant refurbishment will expand 6 shared bedrooms into 12 separate bedrooms which will eliminate all shared bedrooms in the Nursing Home and will allow all residents to have their own designated bedroom.

The refurbishment will also modernize the High Care (Nursing Home) dining room, significantly expand the floor space in the dining room as well as develop an alfresco area for the use of residents and families.

As a COVID-19 risk mitigation strategy, this work has been divided up into 3 stages. The first stage, which is complete, includes expanding the first group of rooms as well as the dining area.

Stage two is well underway and is planned to be finished in late March 2022. The remaining third stage is on-track to be completed in late June 2022.
