Site Re-build Update

Internal demolition works are progressing and are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Refurbishment and remediation works will then commence to bring the site back to operational capacity, which could take up to 12 months.
Re-opening of the site will occur in stages.
We are planning for Acute Services, Kitchen and Stores wings to be the first departments opened, to enable services to the community to be reinstated on our site as our highest priority.

Yalukang Aged Care
Repatriation of Yalukang residents into temporary facilities is now complete.
Through extensive consultation with residents and their families we are pleased to have secured places for our residents in line with their preferences, locally in Tongala, Kyabram, Echuca and further afield where requested in Bendigo, Deniliquin, Mildura and Melbourne.
Staff have been deployed to the Tongala and Echuca facilities to ensure continuity of care and familiar faces to our residents whilst our facility is rebuilt.

Urgent Care Centre
40-44 Moore Street (Rochester Medical Clinic).
8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
(excluding Christmas public holidays)

District Nursing & Home Care
Services available for eligible clients in the Rochester, Elmore, Nanneella, Lockington and surrounding communities.

Christmas Period Services
Home Care Services
Home Care services will not be provided on the Christmas/New Year Public Holidays (Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 December, Monday 2 January).
Limited personal care, domestic assistance and respite will be provided with prior approval on:
• Wednesday 28 December
• Thursday 29 December
• Friday 30 December
Any clients who require services on the above dates should contact REDHS home care team to confirm availability.
Allied Health Services
Allied Health Services and Reception will be closed from Friday 24 December to Tuesday 3 January with only limited, urgent services operational during the period.
