New Board Chair appointed

ROCHESTER LOCAL TAKES THE LEAD

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) has welcomed in a new Board of Director Executive team with former Rochester local, Christopher White taking on the position of Board Chair.

Other appointments include Elmore local, Bradley Drust to the position of Deputy Chair, and Benjamin Devanny from Bendigo, as Treasurer.

Chris has been a REDHS Board Director for over four years and has previously held the position of Treasurer and Chair of the Corporate Governance committee.

“As a Rochester local, I am immensely proud to lead Rochester and Elmore District Health Service, especially through this extremely challenging time in the rebuild of our facility that was severely impacted during the devastating floods in October 2022. stated Chris White, Board Chair.

“My family lives in Rochester, and I have a keen interest in ensuring REDHS continues to provide services that best meet the needs of our community.” he added.

Chris has held several senior leadership positions over the past 15 years at Bendigo Health, including Business Director of Clinical Operations, Business Director of Psychiatric Services and Non-Clinical Divisions. He currently holds the position of Director – Cancer Centre at Bendigo Health.

Outgoing Chair, David Rosaia will remain on the Board of Directors and looks forward to supporting Chris through his transition.

REDHS will also welcome some new Board directors in July with Carol McKinstry and Kate Lemon both concluding their terms.
