Hospital Re-Build Update
REDHS Board has approved the appointment of Bay Building Services for the hospital rebuild.
REDHS is working with the Department of Health on the staging of the works, and services to be prioritised first to ensure reinstatement of the facility best meets the needs of our community going forward.
Urgent Care Centre
Our UCC continues to operate from the Rochester Medical Clinic, 40-44 Moore Street, Rochester.
8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Call 0428 358 892 for appointments. Walk-ins also welcome.
Community Services
Our Community Services are all back up and running at full capacity.
Services are available to eligible clients in the Rochester, Elmore, Nanneella, Lockington and surrounding communities.

Home Care Services
Services include:

- Home care

- Meal preparation
- Social support
- Aids and equipment
- Clinical care

District Nursing
Services are available to people of all ages including:
- Hygiene assessment and assistance
- Medication supervision
- Wound care management
- Monitoring and support with chronic illness
- Palliative care nursing
- Nursing care following hospital discharge
- Assessment and referral to other service providers
Allied Health Services
Services are available at our Jeffrey Street, Elmore site (adjacent to the Elmore Medical
Practice) for:
- Podiatry
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Dietetics
- Group exercise classes
- Social work
- Exercise Physiology
Podiatry and Physiotherapy outreach services are also available in Rushworth & Lockington.
For those unable to travel, online and in-home exercise programs are also available.
The RFDS Community Transport Service can assist with free transport to and from Elmore
for appointments.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held on Monday 20th February at 5:30pm.
The AGM will be livestreamed via our website (www.redhs.com.au) and our Facebook page.
A special presentation will be made on the flood impact to our facility and our recovery journey.
