Hospital Rebuild Update

Stages of our re-building works are:
➔ Stage 1 – Community Care Wing
*anticipated completion date Christmas 2023
(Community Care, Allied Health, GP Clinic, Function Room, Administration, Reception, IT Server Rooms)
➔ Stage 2 – Corporate Services Wing
*anticipated completion date Christmas 2023
(Kitchen, Stores, Laundry)
➔ Stage 3 – Acute & Urgent Care Wing
*anticipated completion date June 2024
➔ Stage 4 – Aged Care Wing
*anticipated completion date December 2024
(*assuming no major delays or interruptions)

REDHS Services

Services continue to be provided to eligible clients in the Rochester, Elmore & surrounding communities for the following services:

• District Nursing
• Home Care Services
• Social Support Group
  Operating from Rochester Community House until completion of Stage 1.
• Allied Health Services
  Services are available at our Jeffrey Street, Elmore site &/or Rushworth and Lockington.
• RFDS Community Transport
  is available to access appointments.
• Urgent Care
  Operating from Rochester Medical Clinic, 40-44 Moore Street, Rochester until Stage 3 is completed.
  Providing care for non-life threatening illnesses, injuries & emergencies needing urgent attention.
  8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Call 0428 358 892 Walk-ins also welcome.
• Aged Care Services – Residents continue to be cared for by our staff in their temporary locations in Echuca & Tongala. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any new admissions until Stage 4 is completed.
