REDHS has officially launched two brand new wheelchair-accessible commuter buses to support our consumer’s transport needs!

Thanks to generous funding from FRRR, Horizon Committee and the Great Postie Bike Adventure, and the Community Bank Elmore, Lockington and Rochester, this two-year project is now a reality.

We also have new volunteer drivers, who have completed their driver training in preparation for this day and the incorporation of these buses into our community transport service in the coming weeks.

These buses will provide safe, comfortable, and dignified transport for REDHS residents and consumers attending community programs and social outings. Reducing isolation, improving access to care, and strengthening the bonds that hold our community together.
