Hospital Rebuild
Bay Building Services has commenced the initial stages of the rebuilding works of the facility.
As part of the rebuild, the Department of Health are undertaking a review of service requirements and community need to inform a Clinical Services Plan to ensure what is rebuilt will best serve the community going forward.
As part of this process there will be a number of opportunities for community consultation over the
coming weeks.
Further details will be provided as engagement opportunities are confirmed.

Board of Directors New Chair
REDHS Board of Directors are pleased to welcome former Rochester local, Christopher White to the position of Board Chair, with outgoing chair David Rosaia concluding his term for the position.

Elmore local, Brad Drust has taken on the position of Deputy Chair, and Ben Devanny from
Bendigo, the Treasurer position.

Chris has been a REDHS Board Director for over four years and has previously held the position of
Treasurer and Chair of the Corporate Governance committee.
“As a Rochester local, I am immensely proud to lead Rochester and Elmore District Health Service, especially through this extremely challenging time in the rebuild of our facility that was severely impacted
during the devastating floods in October 2022. My family lives in Rochester, and I have a keen interest in
ensuring REDHS continues to provide services that best meet the needs of our community.”

COVID & Flu Vaccinations
If it has been 6 months since your last COVID infection or vaccination, then it’s time to get your
booster shot.
COVID boosters are available for everyone aged 18 and over, and new bivalent boosters are available to protect you from the more recent variants of COVID-19.
Vaccinations for COVID and influenza are available at your local GP or pharmacy in preparation for the colder months ahead.

Urgent Care Centre
Our UCC continues to operate from the Rochester Medical Clinic, 40-44 Moore Street, Rochester.
8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Call 0428 358 892 for appointments. Walk-ins also welcome.
