Occupational Therapists use activities and aids to assist clients in overcoming physical challenges sustained as a result of injury, disability or illness. OTs promote independence and quality of life for the following:
  •  Inpatients of REDHS Acute Services
  • Residents of REDHS Aged Care
  • People living in the Rochester and surrounding communities

Treatment can include:
  • Initial assessment of client needs
  • Home assessment
  • Education of injury care and prevention
  • Personal alarms
  • Equipment loan (including over-toilet frames, shower chairs, bed poles, wheelchairs)

Clients can self refer or obtain a referral from their GP. Please call 5484 4465 for fees.
