At REDHS we believe that our community has the right to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Therefore, we strive to ensure our community support and respect one another, value and understand the benefits of being healthy and have access to support and services that help them live healthier lifestyles.
 
To support this, REDHS facilitate and coordinate a range health promotion programs and initiatives:
  •  Exercise classes and sessions
    • Fitness for older adults
    • Strength and balance
  • Community walking groups
  • Promotion of nutrition, physical activity and mental health within local schools and the broader community
  • Drug and Alcohol prevention programs
  • Promotion of sexual health and positive body image among young people and youth
  • Healthy lifestyle education and awareness at community events:
    • The Elmore Field Days
    • Farm and Road Safety Expo
  • Promotion of National Health Weeks/ Days
