Congratulations Kerryn Moroney
2009 BRIT Outstanding Student of the Year
On February 4th 2010, the Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT) annual graduation ceremony was held with 700 graduands in attendance. BRIT has around 11,500 students enrolled each year.
The BRIT Board of Directors' awards recognise outstanding achievement in the areas of job skills, personal skills, industry knowledge , and achievements in other pursuits.
There were 11 nominees for the four student of the year categories of vocational, trainee, apprentice and Koori. From these four category winners, an Outstanding Student of the Year Award is made.
The winner of the 2009 vocational category was Kerryn Moroney for her studies in Certificate IV in Nursing. Kerryn is one of our Nursing Home staff and is well known in the local community.
Following this significant award, the overall winner of the 2009 Student of the Year was made. The announcement followed that Kerryn was acknowledged as the 2009 BRIT Outstanding Student of the Year.
The Board of Management, Executive and staff congratulate Kerryn on this prestigious award.
