Rochester & Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester, close to the regional centres of Bendigo and Echuca, and only two hours from Melbourne.  REDHS is an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, aged, primary and public health programs to a population of approximately 6,500 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.

REDHS has recently undergone a full redevelopment program at a cost of $21.7M providing state of the art facilities to the local catchment population, which includes the larger townships of Rochester, Elmore, Lockington, Corop and Colbinabbin.  REDHS now has a new Acute Ward with an Urgent Care Centre bay, new 30-bed Nursing Home, new Operating Theatre and a large Primary Care centre with eleven consulting rooms and two treatment areas.  REDHS also provides Hostel based residential services, one respite bed and a Transition Care Program.

All applicants who have been/are residents or citizens of a country/countries other than Australia, must sign a Statutory Declaration stating that they have never been convicted of murder or sexual assault, or been convicted of and sentenced to imprisonment for any other forms of assault. 

Depending on the position description, a Working with Children Check may also be required.
