Dr. Carol McKinstry, Chair
Carol joined the Board in July 2014 and is a registered Occupational Therapist. Carol brings a wealth of experience to our Board having previously worked in the areas of patient safety and quality improvement. Carol lives and works in Bendigo and her and her husband enjoy a rural lifestyle while still having access to great services.

​Chris White

Chris is a former Rochester resident who still sees himself as a local.  Now living in Bendigo, Chris still spends plenty of time in Rochester visiting family and friends, watching local footy and playing golf.  Chris has worked in health service management for over 12 years. He joined the REDHS board on 1 July 2018 and is looking forward to bringing this experience to the board.

Kate Lemon
Kate joined the REDHS Board on 1 July 2017. Kate is currently the Public Environments Manager at the Shire of Campaspe, where she has worked for the past 27 years in various roles, Kate has lived in the Rochester and Elmore district for nearly three decades and loves the close Rochester community, wonderful businesses and services. Kate is married and a mum to three adult children and enjoys spending her time with family and friends, gardening, motorbike riding, and travel. Kate looks forward to further developing her skills in the areas of corporate governance, strategic planning, business development and public health management and making a positive contribution to the Rochester and Elmore community.

David Rosaia, Deputy Chair
David lives just outside Bendigo but has family links to Elmore. David enjoys sports, particularly cricket, football and soccer, and European travel. He is very much looking forward to enhancing the Board’s clinical skill set.

​Tim Fulton

Tim has been a member of REDHS Board for eight years, previously as Treasurer for four years and then taking on the role of President for three years. Tim works as an Agri-business Manager for Devondale Murray Goulburn and has held various roles in finance and business. Tim lives in Echuca with his wife and two young daughters and enjoys keeping fit through swimming and Crossfit. He believes the lifestyle a country town offers is great for families.

Carl Wood
Carl joined the REDHS Board on 1 July 2017. Formerly an Officer with the Australian Army, and following many and varied senior management roles in sporting and other organisations, Carl is now a Bail Justice as well as a member of a number of boards and committees and now lives in Strathallan on a small farm raising sheep and poultry, keeping bees and growing vegetables. He enjoys classical music and following rugby union. He has adult children – one an engineer in Melbourne and one a paramedic based in London. Carl sees REDHS as an important community resource and is looking forward to contributing to its continued successful management.

Jodie Smith, Treasurer

Jodie joined the Board on 1 July 2016 and works as an accountant at Jodie Smith Accounting based in Echuca. Originally a Rochester resident, Jodie is passionate about rural communities, agriculture, horses and rural health. Joining the Board has allowed Jodie to further her interests and studies in understanding rural health.

​Ben Devanny

Ben joined the REDHS Board on 1 July 2017 after having been an independent member of the Board’s Audit Sub-committee for 12 months. Ben has worked in local government as well as in business banking and accounting. Ben was born and raised in Central Victoria and lives just outside of Bendigo. Ben looks forward to bringing his skills and experience to the Board to ensure that REDHS continues to offer the best possible service to the region.

Frank Oliver
Frank joined the REDHS Board on 1 July 2017 after having been an independent member of the Board’s Risk Management and Planning Sub-committee for 12 months. After a career in information and communications technology, Frank has now retired to a small farm at Myola East where he relishes living in a small rural community with plenty of fresh air and sunshine and expanding his keen interests in sustainable communities and capacity building. He is looking forward to improving his knowledge and understanding of how REDHS interacts with its community with a view to improving outcomes for both. Frank is a long serving member of the CFA, and a current member of several local community groups including Landcare and the local Recreation Reserve Committee.
